His personality is a bit strange in the Eposide Zero comic book but understanding. He think he was a tool since he thought that he was born from a test tube and he never found out that he was natuarally born. Quarte is a cheery kinda guy and a pacifist after his father. You hardly or never see him when he's upset though in battle he can go on even with a wound since he never listens at all. He thinks that he should fight to the end and not watch the innocent die.
